Amateur-photos.com aims to be the number one destination for all of your amateur picture needs. Featuring a snazzy-looking design and decent navigation it was so far ticking all of the boxes. The site uses a grid layout to deliver all of those pictures and as you would expect that makes looking through all of those photos a total breeze.
Is it just amateur photos that can be found on the site?
Well, the site is called Amateur-photos.com so I guess that would answer your question. You will find only pictures on the site but don't let that put you off. I looked through a decent amount of the content and it was good. Like the name suggests it was amateur in nature and that's just what I would expect. Each photo you click on will have a corresponding image gallery that you can download (through a file-sharing service) and keep for as long as you wish.
I like amateur content can I upload my own?
Actually, you can. Amateur-photos.com has a link that you can click and use a service to upload your content and share it with them. Just how that process works is something that I am not able to comment on as I haven't yet tried it. It looks to be something that people do however and I say that because of the impressive number of amateur galleries the site has.
Good look and feel for an amateur site.
Amateur-photos.com does have a good look and feel to it, but it also could be improved. First, some of the font on the sidebar is a little hard to read, and perhaps a different font might just improve it. Also, I would like to see ratings for the images. Just something to get a reaction to people viewing the amateur pictures. It also gives a bit of a community feel to the site as well. The site does have a decent search feature so that is always going to be a plus. Overall, Amateur-photos.com gives a good impression and I wouldn't hesitate to make a return visit.
